Watching Sin City Rules in the Bahamas

Sin City Rules, Episode #2

Brad and I are in the Bahamas with our wonderful party at the Havana Cay! We’re supported tonight by our colleagues who love Twitter! They love the tweets from the cast and fans of Sin City Rules, and are laughing and having so much fun with the drama! Yes, we have translators, though many Bahamians speak English (and quite well). While watching the show, I couldn’t help but notice Lori’s backyard fire pit! It looks like a lot of fun and a lovely setting for good times and conversation with friends…even if that’s not what actually went down. Oh well, intention is everything, right?

I think everyone felt the fun and sincere interaction between Jennifer Harman and her boys: Marco and the twins. There’s a lot of love in that home and it shows through on the show for sure. Jen juggles a lot being a mom, wife, and professional poker player (not in that order). Brad and I are early-to-bed people, so we can’t even imagine keeping her schedule. My cowgirl hat is off to her!

I would imagine that kind of stress combined with smoke and odd hours of play can wreak havoc on a working mom. In fact, I have to say great job for all the moms out there watching the show who struggle with one income and without the glamor of the city lights. Mommy-hood is for saints, so great job to those working hard and juggling life’s challenges.

After watching the drama and “she said / she heard” between Lana and Alicia, I hope these two girls can work out their issues, however next week’s previews looks pretty crazy in the desert! I can’t wait to see what happens!
