Brad and I arrived in Santa Monica just in time to watch the third episode of Sin City Rules. We actually watched the show at our favorite Thai restaurant here in Southern Cal, because nothing goes better with watching TV than delicious food. Short ribs, crispy chicken, and whole fried catfish! Yes, nothing better.
Brad and I weren’t the only ones enjoying Asian cuisine it seems. The girls of Sin City were tossing threats like veggies in a wok! It was difficult to not be captivated by each scene. I was so glad I had my refreshing lychee martini because all that fighting was certainly turning up the heat.
I nearly dropped my chopsticks when Marco said he didn’t want to hear the “downside” of Jen’s poker paying. It’s never pleasant when your mate is suffering a downturn, however, it’s the contrast that makes the good times, well, good. I’ll be happy to see if Jen and Marco are able to push through that rough patch.
I also have to say that I love Amy’s hair pulled back. It’s a good look for her and not easy to do. I can hardly wait to see what will happen with the Lana/Alicia standoff. If they had eaten this delicious meal Brad and I just had, they’d be all smiles. With that said, we’re packing up our leftovers (and opinions) and heading out for some holiday fun in the sun.
Happy holidays and peace to you all!
