In an article on creators.com, Kimberly Friedmutter explains how eating a meal in a stressful environment can lead to overeating. “Anyplace there’s noise and activity going on, adrenaline and cortisol block your feelings and drive you into action. And the action that you’re there to do is eat.”
Colors also lend to how much you eat during mealtime. While fast-food restaurants use bright colors that may enact an overeating impulse, surrounding yourself with calmer colors at dinner could help you eat less.
