Inspired to Be Colorful at Shangri-Las Vegas

With the holiday season approaching and TLC’s Sin City Rules airing its second episode, Brad and I decided to get away and relax for a bit. So we headed to the Bahamas where the two of us could unwind and enjoy true paradise. What I love about places, like the Bahamas, is the inspiration these alluring tropical regions provide.

Surrounded by vibrant colors and kaleidoscopic spaces, I wanted to bring just a taste of this vitality home to Shangri-Las Vegas.

Influenced by our travels, Brad and I created our “cantina and tequila” haven in order to bring that festive ambiance to our home. No matter where you look, inspiring colors, textures, and visions of beauty are prominent.

Want to bring that vibrancy to your home as well? A bathroom, kitchen, or play space (and yes, bars can be play spaces!) are the perfect places to spice up your decor. Paint the walls a rich orange or a bright green. Place tropical flowers and multicolored items throughout your space to give it that added exuberance. Not only will your space look more vivacious, it will also lift your spirits.
