The Building of Shangri-Las Vegas

Shangri-Las Vegas was built in a relatively short period of time. Our home was just finished on the day of our wedding! That’s actually how we chose our special date, knowing that the landscapers would be working until the day of the ceremony!

Our most rare artifacts would be our beautiful Buddhas. We also have gorgeous Tibetan Palace Doors in the foyer that are spellbinding! I imagine who walked through them centuries ago… All things rare are wonderful however, our goal with Shangri-Las Vegas is for everyone to be able to capture the essence of what guests appreciate about our home.

My favorite place in Shangri-Las is outside! We love our bar and dining areas and have created many fun memories there.  It’s wonderful because with the right attitude, you can create an entertainment space anywhere. It only requires an open mind. Your imagination and your lifestyle can come to life in the most unique way if you vow to be fearless!

Brad and I both have very successful careers outside of our Shangri-Las Vegas Home Collection which became a must because everyone who visited our home had the same immediate then lasting sanctity from being here. The “wow” factor combined with the warm, welcoming soul of our home had to be shared!

Shangri-Las Vegas was intentional for us and became intentional for others because we want to share. The secret is to do the unexpected! At every turn, items are repurposed and used in the most unusual ways. It’s not just about having nice things. The magic of Shangri-Las Vegas is the soul of how they’re used!

The items for purchase are all things I want and still don’t have! I’m ordering them the minute the website is available! We personally chose these items because of varying standards. The fun of them, the versatility of them and the soul of them!
